Five Animal Frolics is an ancient Chinese Qigong practice. Hua-tuo, the most famous Chinese doctor in ancient China, designed Five Animals Frolic based on Chuang-tzu'ss Taoist practice and traditional Chinese medical philosophy. Each animal form has a special effect on a human being's inner organ health: tiger form for liver energy flow; deer form for kidney; bear form for spleen and stomach; ape form for the heart; bird form for lungs. Through the stimulation and accumulation of qi, a person can clear out stress and sickness and may not only acquire a new sense of physical and mental energy, but create the conditions for longevity as well. • I was just watching the Chen Sword DVD. As usual, it is extremely well done. Beautiful videography and music. And the demo, well, now that's just quite simply the way Chen Sword is meant to be done!
    -- Sheryl

  • Hi Master Tsao,
What a great Tai Chi DVD! It is so professional. The introduction is awesome. Georgette and I loved it. Thank you so much.  We just wanted to tell you what a great job you did with the Tai Chi Fan DVD. It is amazingly well done and such a big help to watch. It will be a wonderful addition to our at home practice. Thank you for doing it.
    -- Bill & Georgette

  • Master Tsao,
Just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying your compact tai chi
and thank you for your hard work in developing it and sharing it with the public. I do it a little bit each day at work! The first section is so simple and smooth that I stayed with it alone for quite awhile but now have added the 2nd section and will complete the whole form eventually and hope to get certified by you in it.
    -- Mike

  • EXCELLENT DVD!!!!!!!!!!!! Beautiful videography (I see what you meant about the fall colors of the leaves in the background ñ gorgeous). As usual extremely well done. I really like the back views ñ very helpful.
    -- Sheryl

  •

  • This is a note to thank you for a wonderful DVD.  I recently received your DVD Simplified Tai Chi Sword.  It is the last and best of four Tai Chi Sword DVDs I have.  The others are interesting and now reference only. Your productions values are very high.  Your form is (I hope this is the correct word) beautiful. But most important, your instruction is clear, precise and working wonderfully well for me. I am no longer within easy access to my Tai Chi family.  I am trying, no, I am learning the Sword Form on my own.  Your DVD is making it so much easier. ---Howard T.
  • Just a note to let you know that the regular video works perfectly in
our new machine. We were just watching it and also doing a bit of
practice with you on the tape. This is really a beautiful and superb
video, Jesse! We consider ourselves EXTREMELY lucky to have you as our tai chi teacher!!!!!!!
    -- Helen and Bob

  • I would like to compliment you on your book, "Compact Tai Chi". I
work for the Department of State and travel worldwide. Until recently, I had my short and long form Yang style Taiji that I could practice. Many times in different parts of the world, my space is limited when doing Taiji, your form "compact tai chi", allows me to practice daily and not have any more excuses.
    -- Michael

  • I love your instructional DVDs. I have three of them. I'm concentrating on the 42 forms right now.  In about three or 4 months I'll try the Chen style DVD.  It's so exhilarating. I've dropped 10 points in my blood pressure.  My doctor says that if I stay that way for the next three months he may take me off the blood pressure medication as I'm on a low dose anyways.  I can't explain what's happened to me but it's wonderful. --Johan M.

  • I just went through the first section of the Yang. You were right. It flows so beautifully -- great tape by the way (you have to teach me the sword form in the beginning -- the one where you jump up and look like you could touch the sky! Don't know what form it is, but I love it!).
    -- Sheryl

  • Thank you Jesse for the great instructional Tai Chi DVDs!!! Of course, nothing can replace "hands-on" training. But, when we need to study at home, these DVDs make GREAT training tools!! I think important keys to learning are study and practice. These help to remember long routines, and help to remember important routine details. Words alone cant say enough... so I'll go back my practice!! Thank You!
    -- Dennis

  • Hi Jesse,
Just want to thank you for making the 56 form. I looked at the sample
and feel so relieved to see you demonstrate the form instead of the
other masters I've been watching on video. As always, your
instructions are clear and your demonstration of the form is so
beautifully executed --as well as all the other forms. I refer
friends to your website to look at your videos and to let them see
what a great master you are.
    --Jeanette

  • I really enjoy learning from your DVD's. I think your teaching and forms are the best of all the material available. It is very very close to the way my Sifu taught his style of Fu Style Tai Chi. --Mark B.

  • I am enjoying the 8 verses of brocade and 5 animal frolics DVD's you sent me. Like all of your other DVD's they are exceptionally well made. I had learned slightly different versions of these same forms but the added insights from your DVD is helpful.
    -- Michael
